American actor Leonardo DiCaprio was searched by officials at Ibiza party
Leonardo DiCaprio, who is known for his titular role in movies like Titanic and The Revenant, was stopped for a pat-down as he partied in Ibiza.
Although it was reported that he faced embarrassment for not being recognised, an outlet revealed details about the incident.
According to Page Six, the Academy Award winner wasn’t the only one searched at the get-to-gather as visible in the video.
The outlet noted that the Spanish cops initially failed to recognise it was the Hollywood A-list star. Every single “person was patted down, and ID’d.”
It was also pointed out that the party hosted “many notable people.” However, The Wolf of Wall Street actor was allowed to enter after “they did a double take.”
In the video, a woman can be heard saying: “They are searching me full-on right now.”
On the other hand, Travis Scott was not allowed to enter the star-studded event at Patron and Aron Piper’s villa, while Kendall Jenner and Tobey Maguire were in-attendance.
Although the situation can be considered embarrassing for celebrities, it is to be noted that the officials in Ibiza can legally stop individuals for search without a warrant.
