Prince Andrew terrified to step foot in the US over Jeffrey Epstein ties

Prince Andrew is reportedly “too terrified” to set foot in the United States amid renewed pressure for him to answer questions under oath about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, and insiders say he may “never” go back.

Although the Duke of York has not been subpoenaed by Congress, a Washington source told The Mirror that landing on US soil would trigger “an avalanche of political, legal and media scrutiny,” adding the “safest option” is to stay in Britain.

The claims land as a new unauthorized biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by Andrew Lownie, paints Andrew as a serial abuser of privilege and alleges the late Queen knew of his behaviour, allegations Buckingham Palace has not commented on.

Lownie says Andrew did not cooperate with the book. Andrew has repeatedly denied wrongdoing related to Epstein.

He faces no criminal charges and has never been the subject of an official UK or US inquiry.

He previously settled Virginia Giuffre’s US civil case without admitting liability.

Reports suggest any U.S. return would ignite fresh calls for testimony as Epstein’s orbit remains under intense public scrutiny.

Diplomatic chatter even hints some US allies might keep their distance, leaving Andrew an “effectively grounded duke,” per one insider.
