Is Meghan Markle returning to UK with Prince Harry for Peter Phillips's wedding?

Meghan Markle is facing fresh backlash over whether she should attend Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling’s upcoming royal wedding, with thousands of fans saying “no thanks.”

A new Express poll asked if Meghan should travel to the UK for the nuptials. 

Of 6,931 votes, a huge 6,736 said she should stay away, only 152 wanted her there, and 43 were undecided. 

Comments were blunt: “She should never step back into the UK ever again,” wrote one user, while another warned her presence would “distract from Peter and his new wife’s big day.”

The debate comes despite a branding expert telling the Express that Prince Harry attending could help his popularity and be a step toward healing the family rift. 

Still, many royal watchers insist Meghan’s attendance would be the spotlight, not the ceremony. Some even questioned whether she’d be invited at all.

Peter, Princess Anne’s son, announced his engagement on August 1 via a formal statement confirming both families, including The King and Queen and The Prince and Princess of Wales, were informed and “delighted.”
