Pedro Pascal, who is known for his roles in GOT and The Last of Us, finally broke his silence after exiting the star cast of the new movie Weapons.

As the 50-year-old actor is notable for his energetic personality, Pedro took to his Instagram story to playfully threaten his fans.

Sharing the poster of the horror movie, The Fantastic Four: First Steps lead wrote on the update: “Go to the f***in movies (...if you can #weapons).”

He also gave a shout out to the director of the project Zach Cregger and Julia Garner, who is starring as Justine Gandy.

Initially, the Narcos star was part of the movie but he forcefully backed out after the long 2023 Screen Actors Guild strike which lasted around 118 days.

Filmmaker Zach addressed the change of cast, revealing that “Pedro Pascal’s schedule threw us into turmoil.”

He added: “I had to recast the entire movie.”

Pedro was deemed suitable for the role after his appearance in the post-apocalyptic adventure.

Although the star has no professional relation with the newly released project, the Eddington actor urged his followers to watch it.

The move seemingly hints at the fact that there were indeed no hard feelings between the celebrity and the director.

Why is Pedro Pascal receiving hate?

This came after he faced severe backlash for his interactions with female colleague Venessa Kirby. He was called out for inappropriately interacting with the actress.

While many instances were pointed out by the online community, his die-hard admirers jumped in to defend him by reminding everyone that the A-lister has anxiety.

It is to be noted that he has been very vocal about his struggle with anxiety, leaning towards simple and quick remedies such as “doomscrolling” or disassociating "from the feeling."
