The creators of the One Piece live-action adaptation just dropped the highly anticipated first trailer on August 9, giving fans a thrilling glimpse into the series.

The trailer showed the gang back together as they set sail for new adventures in the Grand Line while fighting off different villains. 

Adapted from a fan favourite manga and anime, the series follows Monkey. D. Luffy, as he looks for a lost treasure among other powerful people, and along the way, he befriends four talented individuals: Nami, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp. 

Season 2 will be directed by Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes with a star-studded cast that includes Emily Rudd, Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Taz Skyler, and Jacob Gibson. 

However, Netflix has not yet revealed the exact release date for the second part, but it is scheduled for 2026. Netizens are still excited since the showrunners announced that One Piece will be renewed for a third season. 

Notably, the news came out during the One Piece Day celebration in Tokyo, where Stokes mentioned that they will start working on Season 3 later this year. 

Fans took to social media to express their joy about the upcoming season. One netizen wrote, "I was sold the second I saw the live-action Den Den Mushis."  Another well-wisher penned, "Excited to see the big clashes at Alabasta!" 

For the unversed, One Piece: Into the Grand Line comes out in 2026, with the third season going into production soon.
