A new YouGov snapshot of royal favour shows a surprise number one, as Prince William tops the charts as the UK's most popular royal, edging out his wife, Kate Middleton.
Nearly three-quarters 74 percent of Britons hold a positive view of the heir to the throne, with Kate close behind at 71 percent.
Princess Anne lands third on 70 percent, while King Charles sits fourth with 59 percent favourability.
At the other end of the table, Prince Andrew remains the least popular royal by a mile: 87 percent negative and just five percent favourable, numbers that have barely shifted since his 2019 Newsnight disaster.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also languish near the bottom, with 28 percent and 20 percent positive ratings.
The institution is still holding firm. 62 percent of Britons have a positive view of the Royal Family overall, and 58 percent back the monarchy itself, roughly double those who don’t.
Regarding William's high rating is explained by insiders as his high-visibility, purpose-driven agenda, from homelessness initiatives to mental health advocacy.
