Ed Sheeran shares exciting update ahead of his 2026 'Loop' tour

Ed Sheeran recently surprised his fans with an exciting update about his 2026 Loop tour in Australia and New Zealand.

The 34-year-old singer reposted the @edhq (Ed Sheeran HQ account) story on his Instagram account. The poster showed new dates for his upcoming concerts.

He captioned the photo, “Extra dates added! Tickets on sale this Tues, 29th July, 2025.”

Fans took to social media to express their joy. One delighted well-wisher of the musician commented, “Yeeees. I can't wait.”

Another follower wrote, “COME ON, LET’S GO.”

However, other admirers expressed concerns for the Perfect singer, saying how he hasn’t rested and has been on tour since 2022.

This refers to Sheeran’s Mathematics tour, which began in April 2022 and will conclude in September 2025.

Because of presale demand for the tickets, the songwriter added second shows in Auckland and Perth on January 17 and February 1. He will also make a stop in Wellington, Christchurch, and Adelaide.

On May 1, Sheeran announced his new album, Play, set to be released on September 12.

In the following months, he dropped three tracks from his upcoming eighth studio album, Sapphire, Azizam and Old Phone.

Notably, the superstar collaborated with Indian singer Arijit Singh on Sapphire, blending Western and Indian music. Sheeran also added a Persian touch to his single, Azizam with producer Illya Salmanzadeh.

For the unversed, Ed Sheeran will continue the European leg of his Mathematics tour in August.
