Drake informed fans of a cancellation of one of his concerts, the one on Monday in Manchester on Sunday, which caught fans off guard.
In a statement to his official page, the What Did I Miss? singer announced that he would not be taking the stage on Co-op Live, to complete his trio of concerts, due to travel issues.
“Due to unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics, tomorrow’s performance in Manchester on July 28th has been rescheduled,” the statement began, noting the crux of the problem.
It continued in an attempt to uplift concertgoers, “The good news is that Drake will now perform in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5th, and it’s set to be an unforgettable night.”
The sudden moving ahead of the tour date, as well as the abrupt cancellation fo the anticipated gig did not go over well with fans.
One netizen called it a “joke” while another noted that they had, "extended my unpaid leave in Dubai to stay in Manchester so I could see Drake on 28th July just for him to cancel last minute."
A third internet user wrote that they thought it was a "lame excuse of travel logistics".
