Liam, Noel Gallagher’s brother faces serious charges of assault
The third Gallagher brother is due to face court
Oasis fame singers Liam and Noel Gallagher’s brother has been charged with serious counts of assault.
Paul Gallagher, who is the older brother of the singing duo, is set to face court on Wednesday, August 27.
The 59-year-old has been charged after an investigation conducted by Scotland Yard which started last year.
The Metropolitan Police has charged Paul with sexual assault, coercive control and making threats to kill.
The accused grew up with the famous brothers but was never a part of their musical group, however, he did work as as a DJ and photographer.
It has also been revealed that he lives in a a flat in the north London area. The flat was reportedly purchased by his brother Noel in 2004, according to The Telegraph.
The spokesperson for Met Police reported Paul Gallagher, 59, of Manor Park Road, East Finchley, has been charged with rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.”
It has been reported that the offences took place between 2022 to 2024.
