Bessie Carter's friends no longer intimidated by her parents’ stardom

British actress Bessie Carter, who has made her name from the hit show Bridgerton, is also the daughter of British film industry’s royalty.

The actress was born in 1993 to Dame Imelda Staunton and Jim Carter.

However, Bessie is grateful that her friends are “over” it that her parents are acting royalty.

Talking to People, the actress said that for her friends, they are just her parents.

“Most of my friends are so over it in the nicest way. As in, they’re just my parents to them. Which is really nice.”

She further talked about how a guy would fit in her life and adjust to her parents being so famous.

“I mean, if you’ve got a crackin’ sense of humour, you’re gonna be fine.”, she said.

Bessie explained that having humour is important because her parents have incredible sense of humour.

“if you can crack a joke, you’ll be absolutely fine.”, she added.
