Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary singer who went to eternal rest at the age of 76 in England, UK shocked the music industry by his sudden demise.
According to the statement shared by the iconic singer’s family, the vocalist passed away on Tuesday morning, July 22.
The heavy metal band Black Sabbath co-founder took to his Instagram account to grief in memory of their band's lead singer, following the Prince of Darkness farewell gig held in Birmingham, UK.
The iconic songwriter Tony Iommi expressed his sorrow in his IG post, writing, “Just can’t believe it! My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park."
“It’s just such heartbreaking news that I can’t really find the words, there won’t ever be another like him. Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother. My thoughts go out to Sharon and all the Osbourne family. Rest in peace Oz,” he went on to add.
Along with the post the English musician uploaded collection of throwback pictures of the band.
For the unversed, in conversation with Good Morning America, the late singer shared that he was diagnosed with Parkinson disease in 2019.
The British rock star who rose to fame from his song Paranoid real name was John Michael Osbourne.
