Black Sabbath star Ozzy Osburne passed away on July 22, weeks after giving his farewell performance.
The news of the star’s passing was announced in a statement saying ““It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning”.
The singer, before his passing, had revealed his funeral plans.
The late star said he wanted his funeral to be a “celebration”, it does not matter what music plays at the ceremony as long as it is not a “mope-fest”.
Funeral plans have not been revealed yet but the singer once infamously talked about what he wants his last rituals to be like.
“I honestly don’t care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are the Diddymen if it makes ’em happy”, Ozzy told The Times in 2011.
He said “but I do want to make sure it’s a celebration, not a mope-fest,”.
Ozzy also said he would like if there are pranks pulled at the funeral like “the sound of knocking inside the coffin; or a video of me asking my doctor for a second opinion on his diagnosis of ‘death’.”
