The internet’s most favourite actor, Pedro Pascal, made a startling admission about his moustache and beard look during LADbible’s “Agree to Disagree” video series.
The Latino heartthrob appeared alongside his Fantastic Four: First Steps co-star Vanessa Kirby.
During the segment, the actors were asked to debate which is sexier: moustaches or beards.
Pascal, who is popularly recognised for his iconic facial hair, had to go clean-shaven for the villainous Maxwell Lord in Wonder Woman 1984.
The film, directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, was released in theatres and on HBO Max simultaneously on Christmas Day 2020.
“I grow such shit facial hair, but if I were to shave it all off… I really look very [awful]. Strongly disagree with a clean-shaven me,” Pascal said. “I was so appalled by the way I look in Wonder Woman 1984. I loved the movie, but I was so appalled by the way that I looked that I’ve never gone back unless it was completely necessary.”
In the recent Marvel Cinematic Universe tentpole, Pascal rocks his signature moustache as Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic.
“If they asked me to be clean-shaven for Fantastic Four and insisted, then I would’ve done it,” he admitted. “But it was a very collaborative creation for all of our looks in the movie.”
Fantastic Four: First Steps opens in theatres on July 25.
