Kate Hudson reveals her pillar of support during divorce

American actress Kate Hudson’s first marriage to Chris Robinson ended in 2007 after seven years.

The actress has now opened up about her divorce and who became her pillar of strength in those testing times.

Kate revealed that it was her brother, Oliver who offered her support during that time and she did not even have to ask him.

Speaking on their Sibling Revelry with Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson podcast, the actress said “For me, with you in my divorce with having Ryder and being a working mom, I felt like you really stepped up without me asking.”

Kate’s only son with former husband, Ryder, was only 3-years-old when the divorce happened and he was supported by his uncle as well.

“It's just that you just stepped up as Uncle Ollie and was really there for us and Ryder.”, the actress recalled.

“I think that period of time, you really stepped up for me without me even having to ask for it.”, she added.
