Prince William and Prince Harry received sad news about the tragic death of a family member.
According to reports, the granddaughter of Princess Diana’s uncle, Rosie Roche, died at age 20 at her family’s home in Norton, Wiltshire, on July 14.
The young girl was found dead with a “firearm nearby” by her mother and sister after she packed for a trip with friends.
It is important to note that Rosie's grandfather, Edmund Roche, also killed himself in 1984.
As per obituary published at The Yorkshire Post, "Roche, Rosie Jeanne Burke. Died on Monday 14th July 2025."
"Darling daughter of Hugh and Pippa, incredible sister to Archie and Agatha, Granddaughter to Derek and Rae Long. Private family funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date."
The Sun claimed that the Prince of Wales' spokesperson refused to comment on the sad demise of Rosey.
Speaking of any foul play in Rosey's death, Wiltshire Police confirmed it was a sudden death.
The law enforcement official said, "There are no suspicious circumstances, and our thoughts are with her family."
"We would ask that their privacy be respected at this terrible time. Ms Roche had been studying for a degree in English Literature at Durham University."
