As the much anticipated final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty prepares for its premier on Wednesday, July 16, Prime Video is requesting fans to keep discussions respectful.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), the streaming television service issued a strict warning against hate speech and bullying on July 14, 2025.

The message reminded fans that the show’s community should remain a “safe place.” They also emphasized on a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, hate speech, or targeting cast and crew. In case of any violation, such accounts may face risk of being banned.

The season is based on Jenny Han’s bestselling trilogy.

The season 3 trailer aired on Jun, 12, 2025, revealed that the love triangle between Belly and the Fisher brothers deepens and stakes are high with a surprise wedding announcement.

The trailer starts with Belly’s quote, “You don’t forget your first loves. But what you really don’t forget is your last." And with that line, it’s clear fans are in for a rollercoaster.

Fans have long debated which brother Belly will end up with, but some discussions have turned toxic particularly last season with the introduction of Elsie Fisher’s nonbinary character, Skye, who wasn’t in the books.

Han previously condemned online bullying, stressing that the show’s community should be inclusive.
