Rihanna, who is notable for creating several chart-topping hits, has finally revealed her preference when it comes to the gender of her third child.
The 37-year-old singer and beau A$AP Rocky have been dropping several hints about the upcoming baby.
During Rihanna’s recent appearance at the Smurfs’ premiere, the songstress answered some of the most anticipated questions while being interviewed by Extra.
The Diamonds hitmaker admitted she has “always wanted a girl,” however, she maintained that “God knows best.”
Meanwhile, the Work crooner, who shares two sons with A$AP, asked the reporter if her fans will be “disappointed” in case it’s a boy.
The outing came after the duo paid their homage to the Umbrella crooner’s father Ronald Fenty as they came to his funeral.
In a previous interview, the Sundress hitmaker proudly showed a Smurfette which sparked speculation that the new addition to the family will be a baby girl.
While the couple delighted their fans with pregnancy announcement, Rihanna’s die-hard admirers await the release of her album R9.
Many speculate that the delay is due to the singer’s consecutive pregnancies as one X user wrote: “Goodness we’re never getting that album.”
Another netizen pointed out that the nine-time Grammy winner is “barely even promoting the makeup, hair care or lingerie lol.”
The businesswoman, who spent her childhood in Barbados, released her last album Anti in 2016. She reportedly discarded a draft of her ninth studio album as she was not satisfied with the finished product.
