Charlie Puth enters 'Dad era' after latest announcement: 'Why I’m crying?'

Charlie Puth, who is known for his chart-topping hit tracks, was reduced to tears in new video after latest announcement.

After the 33-year-old tied knot with Brooke Sansone on September 7, 2025, Charlie admitted his wife is pregnant with their first child.

To announce their pregnancy, the singer released a new song Changes and revealed a release date for his upcoming album Whatever’s Clever, coming out on March 6, 2026.

However, the musician was dubbed a genius as he shared the science behind changes in heartbeat and taste in music with age.

Taking out the recording of his baby’s first heartbeat, he explained why it is fast for unborn child, which is between "140 to 160 bpms."

The baby is developing and “everything is urgent which is similar to dance music.” 

He described experiencing similar effects of dance music, “mimicking the pulse that we started with.”

The recording made the Attention hitmaker realise “our heartbeats from the moment we are born to when we get older are directly co-related to music.”

The Grammy nominee was moved to tears during the video, questioning: “I don’t known why I am crying. I know why cause music is amazing.”

This came after the musician stepped forward to defend Taylor Swift, who was accused of ripping songs from other artists to make The Life Of A Showgirl.

He introduced the concept of interpolation for his fans on social media.
