Kelly Clarkson has finally showed up to perform at Vegas shows, after disappointing a number of people by snubbing them of her initial performances on the first weekend of the series of performances.
The Stronger singer wore a Stevie Knicks T-shirt for most of her show at the Caesars Palace’s Colosseum, to mimic the intimate and laid-back nature of her appearance when recording one of her albums.
In a similarly raw and candid address to a large number of the attendees, the songwriter ended up apologising for the setback she caused.
"I'm so sorry if some of y'all had last weekend's shows. I'm so sorry. We can't help our bodies sometimes if we get sick, and that happens,” Clarkson stated.
The Since U Been Gone crooner then paused to take a shot with a concertgoer before noting that she was celebrating.
“I'm celebrating because I had to cancel last weekend. I cried. I was so sick, it sucked. I’m so happy to be here,” she remarked.
The Kelly Clarkson Show host had announced an abrupt cancellation shortly before her July 4 performance, telling fans she had overworked her vocals in prep and rehearls for the show.
No, Kelly isn’t in a relationship with anyone as of yet, and was previously married to Brandon Blackstock.
