Iconic K-pop girl group Twice have just released their fourth full length studio album named This Is For, along with a sparkly title track of the same name.
Speaking to People, Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu opened up about what the album represents.
"We usually focus on what side of us hasn't been shown yet and what fans want to see," explained Jihyo.
About the title track, she added, "I love the lyrics during the hook and verses. This is for all my ladies who don't get hyped enough/ If you've been done wrong, this is your song so turn it up."
She clarified, "We call out ladies, but it's not really confined to a female person. We wanted to include everyone when we call out ladies. It's a message to people who really need cheering."
Nayeon added that the song "can make someone feel very positive again when they feel that their confidence is down.”
On their upcoming world tour, Chaeyoung stated, "I'm excited to visit countries and cities we haven’t been to before and meet our fans there."
Dahyun explained that they still have a pre-show ritual that they follow, "We gather, we put our hands together and we say, 'TWICE, TWICE, let's get it together, let's go.' We always do this ritual regardless of the size of the stage or performance."
