Pusha T has revealed how he indirectly chose sides in the highly publicised diss-track centred feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
The Burial rapper, who had previously defeated the One Dance singer with his track The Story of Adidon, went on to compliment the Nosetalgia collaborator.
During a July 11 appearance on The Breakfast Club, the Clipse rapper confirmed that he kept in touch with Kendrick, after a host mentioned his name being featured in one of the latter’s disses during the rap battle.
Pusha stated, "Hell yeah, he's my guy," referring to the 22-time Grammy winner.
In the song titled Euphoria, the Not Like Us rapper sang about the 48-year-old, “Yeah, f*** all that pushin' P, let me see you push a T /You better off spinnin' again on him, you think about pushin' me”
After revealing that he stayed in contact with the Luther singer, Pusha went on to praise Kendrick’s lyrical prowess.
"I think that Kendrick is a lyricist and a lyricist that talks to your soul. Like, you could be clever, you can say cute things, but the truth really hurts and the truth cuts deep,” he stated.
Notably, the Humble rapper is also featured on Clipse’s latest album in more than 15 years, Let God Sort Em Out.
The album came out on July 11, 2025. It is produced by Pharrell Williams and also has appearances from other singers such as Nas and John Legend.
