Michael Douglas addresses quitting acting

Michael Douglas is considered Hollywood royalty for his renowned roles that earned him worldwide recognition.

However, the Oscar winner has now sais that he does not plan to continue acting.

After near;y 60 years in Hollywood, the actor said he has “no real intentions” to work in a movie again.

But there is one condition. The actor is willing to work again if the script is appealing enough.

“I have not worked since 2022 purposefully because I realized I had to stop”, Michael told Variety.

“I had been working pretty hard for almost 60 years, and I did not want to be one of those people who dropped dead on the set. I have no real intentions of going back.”, he added.

However, he also confirmed he has not retired as he will act again if “something special came up”.
