American singer-songwriter and guitarist Bruce Springsteen will be honoured with the release of his biopic on the big screen this fall.

The biopic, titled Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, showcases the Grammy-winning icon’s journey to becoming a rock legend.

In a recent interview with The Times published Saturday, June 21, Springsteen opened up about his feelings upon watching Adolescence star Stephen Graham portray his late father, Douglas Springsteen.

"It's a little otherworldly, and also quite touching," the singer said of the experience.

Springsteen’s father—both a nemesis and an inspiration—looms large in his music and takes centre stage in some of the film’s most emotionally charged moments.

“There’s some unusualness to it because the movie involves, in some ways, some of the most painful days of my life,” Springsteen recently told Rolling Stone.

He recalled that while he visited the set when required, he tried to stay away and give space to the actors.

“If there was a scene coming up that was really deeply personal, I wanted the actors to feel completely free, and I didn't want to get in the way, so I would just stay at home,” he told the outlet about the moments meant to recreate his childhood.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is set to release on Oct. 24, 2025.
