The filming for the next Enola Holmes movie is reportedly facing a major setback due to the cast and crew suffering from food poisoning.
Starring Millie Bobby Brown, the film had moved its shooting from Shepperton Studios to Malta in the past few weeks.
However, some people ended up getting food poisoning due to bad catering, according to The Sun, “It's a nightmare because these productions run to such tight schedules and filming had to be stopped. There were a fair few affected and it meant everything had to grind to a halt until they got better.”
The insider added, “It ended up being a bout of food poisoning which is just really unfortunate. Luckily it wasn't anything too serious and everyone recovered but it put pressure on them in terms of hitting deadlines.”
Brown confirmed earlier this year that she would be once against returning as the sister of the beloved detective, Sherlock Holmes, penned by Arthur Conan Doyle.
Joining her will be Henry Cavill as Sherlock, Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson, as well as Louis Partridge as Viscount Tewkesbury.
Furthermore, Helena Bonham Carter will reprise his role as Eudoria Holmes.
