Netflix kicks off shooting for 'Enola Holmes 3' with Millie Bobby Brown

Teen detective Enola Holmes is back on the case in Enola Holmes 3, with Millie Bobby Brown reprising her role as the lead character.

Other names included in Netflix’s mystery-driven period drama are Louis Partridge, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, Himesh Patel and Sharon Duncan-Brewster.

Netflix posted on X this morning an on-set picture of Enola Holmes and Viscount Tewkesbury with a caption: “Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge spotted behind the scenes of Enola Holmes 3. NOW IN PRODUCTION!”

Philip Barantini, the director of the latest Netflix smash hit Adolescence is calling the shots for the movie.

The Stranger Things star returns as Sherlock Holmes’ inquisitive sister to solve yet another case of the Victorian era with her tenacious temperament. 

"Adventure once again finds teen detective Enola Holmes—this time in Malta—where her personal dreams collide with a dangerously complex case that may be her most challenging yet. With stakes higher than ever, Enola’s sharp wit and tenacious spirit are put to the test," the film's synopsis read.

Based on Nancy Springer's beloved book series, the Enola Holmes franchise has followed its lead's evolution from a rebellious teen to a full-fledged detective navigating London’s murky mysteries.

Now, under the direction of Barantini—fresh off the praise for his gripping one-take crime drama Adolescence—the third instalment promises to be the most thrilling chapter yet.
