The cast and crew of the new flick 28 Years Later from Danny Boyle attended the premiere at Leicester Square in London.

The movie stars big names including Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes as well as industry newbie, Alfie Williams.

“It's been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped from a biological weapons laboratory. Still living in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amid the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily defended causeway. When one of them decides to venture into the dark heart of the mainland, he soon discovers a mutation that has spread to not only the infected, but other survivors as well,” reads the synopsis of the flick.

Speaking to Variety, Boyle said, “We came back to this after 23 years away, and it was the story and ambition of it. Because it’s set across three films, it’s like a trilogy and you very rarely get a chance to do that. It’s also entirely set in Britain, with an almost entirely British cast. But that’s a wonderful thing to make a film about your home country, and to try and make it on as large a scale as possible.”
