Prince William's true feelings over Prince Harry's official exit from the royal family have been revealed.
For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their senior royal roles in 2020.
Upon the Sussexes' life-changing decision, a personal meeting was held in Sandringham which was attended by the late Queen Elizabeth, the then-Prince of Wales, Charles, William and Harry, to discuss their future in the royal fold.
Now, a new documentary on Channel 5 - Megxit: Inside The Sandringham Summit gives more rare insight into high profile summit, especially how William felt over his brother's exit.
As per the Mirror, royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths said, "William must have felt such a sense of relief, but also great sadness because he was really, officially losing his brother."
She added, "What I heard at the time was that William started grieving for his brother at that point, really grieving, like he'd lost, not only his mother, years ago, but his brother as well and I think he was just genuinely quite sad, and completely broken."
It was reported that Harry and William spent some time alone in the gardens of Sandringham after the meeting.
Another royal expert, Andrew Morton shared, "Harry expected to be treated by a harangue from his brother."
"Harry got the chance to do what he wanted to do, which was explain himself to his brother," claimed expert, Jack Royston. "William didn't argue back, he listened," the expert stated.
