Just days after Meghan gave birth in 2021, Kate was asked by US media whether she’d met her new niece
As Princess Lilibet turns four next week, fans are still asking one big question: Has she ever met her royal aunt and uncle, Prince William and Kate Middleton?
Well, according to royal correspondent Danielle Stacey, the answer is... kind of a shrug.
“It has never been officially confirmed whether the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children have met Princess Lilibet,” Stacey told HELLO!
There might have been a brief moment during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, when Harry and Meghan brought Archie and Lilibet to the UK.
“They may have spent some time privately with their niece,” Stacey speculates, though Prince Harry only mentioned Lilibet meeting the late Queen in his memoir Spare, not Will and Kate.
Awkward timing may have played a role too: Lilibet’s 1st birthday party — held at Frogmore Cottage, happened on the same day William, Kate, George, and Charlotte were busy with royal duties in Cardiff.
