Taylor Swift proved to the world that she can certainly reclaim the land after she brought back the rights to all her music, and her longtime best friend, Selena Gomez, cheered her on after the massive feat.
The Look At Her Now crooner took to her social media shortly after the 14-time Grammy winner sent swifties into a frenzy by breaking her own social media hiatus, to write a short note.
The Rare Beauty founder re-shared the Gorgeous singer’s Instagram post to her own story with a sweet caption, “Yes you did that Tay,” in all caps.
Selena, 32 continued “So proud!” above the post Taylor, 35, had cheekily captioned, “You belong with me,” with an assortment of multicolored hearts, likely representing the six albums she had lost ownership over.
The albums in question were Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation, of which the Untouchable crooner had re-recorded all except for her debut, eponymous album and the highly anticipated Reputation.
In the letter displayed on her website, in which Taylor candidly addressed her fans, the “elated” global superstar noted that she had re-recorded her debut album in its entirety, but hadn’t even reached quarter way through Reputation.
Taylor Swift announced that she had bought back the masters rights to her first six albums on Friday, May 30.
