The Kelly Clarkson Show is reportedly teetering on the edge of collapse, just weeks after Kelly Clarkson publicly snubbed Meghan Markle’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan.
According to sources, tensions are running high behind the scenes, and producers are already lining up potential replacements for the pop icon-turned-talk show host.
Insiders say NBC executives are eyeing Hoda Kotb as Clarkson’s possible successor amid rumors the singer may exit the show when her contract expires in 2026.
One producer reportedly told Page Six: “The show could collapse at any minute.”
During a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, actor Brian Tyree Henry expressed his love for Meghan’s new Netflix series, describing it as “Martha Stewart meets flower sprinkles”.
But Kelly's blunt response caught viewers off guard. “What is that?” Kelly interrupted, admitting she hadn’t even heard of the show.
Henry went on to explain the premise and joked that he and actress Elizabeth Olsen were trying to get on the show themselves.
While Henry’s enthusiasm was met with laughter, Kelly’s reaction sparked speculation online about a growing rift between Hollywood elites and the Sussex brand.
In response, Meghan reshared the clip on her @meghan Instagram account, praising the actors: “Love this so much! Special delivery coming in hot for you two gems! @briantyreehenry & Lizzie Olsen.”
While the public feud is making headlines, internal turmoil behind the scenes is causing bigger concerns.
Sources say the daytime Emmy-winning show is “grueling” for Clarkson, who has reportedly been contemplating stepping back from the spotlight to focus on her kids.
“Kelly's number one priority is her children,” said one source.
“She’s exhausted, and New York has been a fresh start, but the show’s schedule is relentless.”
