Kid Cudi took the stand against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to detail the time his car caught on fire, but ended up making a statement that could complicate Cassie Ventura's narrative.

The Day 'n' Nite singer noted that the Bad Boy Records founder’s ex-girlfriend seemed “really stressed” when she told him that the 55-year-old had found out about their relationship.

Cudi, whose legal name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, disclosed that he believed Combs to be a “violent” individual.

This, coupled with the I’ll Be Missing You singer’s alleged claims of blowing up his car made the two-time Grammy winner believe that Combs “was lying” when he denied the claims of being involved with the incident.

However, during the 41-year-old’s cross examination, the defense was able to poke holes in his story.

Combs’ high-profile attorney, Brian Steel, began by insinuating that the Me & U singer lived a “double life,” between her relationship with both rappers at the same time.

The lawyer then succeeded in making Cudi acknowledge that he felt “played” by Cassie.

Moreover, the Trap star also testified that the former talent director was “calm” during most of their interactions, and even apologized to him later down the line.
