Kris Jenner recently explained why she had to undergo hysterectomy back in 2024.
The momager revealed that after annual Prenuvo full-body scan, the doctors “saw a little tiny spot on my ovaries,” during an appearance on Dear Media’s SHE MD podcast, hosted by Dr Thais Aliabadi and Mary Alice on May 5.
At the time, the clinician told her, “’We've got a spot. We're going to keep an eye on it’”.
However, a year later, the spots grew more after which my doctor recommended me to “let it get out of there” through surgical procedure.
Kris recalled her doctor saying to her, “After menopause, you're not ovulating. So, you're not supposed to have anything growing on your ovary.”
“Now, if it's stable and it stays stable, most of them are benign. You can watch, but if anything grows in the ovary, I don't like it,” shared the 70-year-old.
Kris opened up that she decided to remove the uterus via hysterectomy, which she then documented during the 2024 season of the Hulu series, The Kardashians.
“I don't really need this situation anymore and I would rather be clear of any medical complication or anything having a chance to attach itself and grow back,” mentioned the entrepreneur.
Kris added that it “was the best decision” she ever made.
For the unversed, the momager videotaped the 22-minute surgical procedure.
