Tish Cyrus has opened up about the painful end of her marriage to Billy Ray Cyrus.
The 58-year-old producer admitted that she was left in “shock mode” after their split and struggled to imagine life on her own again.
The manager revealed the heartbreak during an emotional chat on Dear Chelsea, where she confessed divorce was something she “never” saw coming after nearly three decades with the country star.
For the unversed, Tish and Billy Ray called time on their marriage in 2022 after 29 years together and two earlier divorce filings that had been withdrawn.
The former couple share famous daughters Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus, along with sons Trace and Braison, and daughter Brandi.
Speaking candidly, Tish admitted she was “devastated” by the break-up and said she felt completely lost in the aftermath.
She even joked she spent much of that period “stoned” while trying to process the collapse of her long marriage.
But despite the pain, she said learning to separate fantasy from reality helped her finally move forward.
She explained that focusing on how things really were, instead of how she wished they could be that became the key to healing.
And it seems heartbreak eventually led her to happiness.
Tish revealed a friend encouraged her to message her celebrity crush, Dominic Purcell, after admitting she had long fancied the Prison Break star.
What started as a daring DM turned into romance, with the pair marrying in Malibu in 2023.
Meanwhile, Billy Ray has also moved on.
After a brief marriage to Firerose ended in divorce, the Achy Breaky Heart singer later went public with actress and model Elizabeth Hurley in 2025.
