Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ongoing trial saw the addition of explosive new claims, which could add to his list of federal charges if the disgraced rapper is proven guilty.
The Bad Boy Records founder is being held in New York City since he was arrested for various counts of federal crimes, namely, sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Extortion, which is also a federal offense, was brought up by the prosecution’s star witness Cassie Ventura’s mother, Regina Ventura, after the Me & U singer’s four-day testimony was over.
Regina claimed that Diddy had threatened to release explicit videos of her daughter after he found out Cassie, 38, was dating Kid Cudi, by going through her emails during an infamous “Freak-Off” session.
She stated in the Manhattan courtroom on May 20, “I was physically sick, I did not understand it, the sex tape threw me. He was trying to hurt my daughter.”
The former administrative assistant explained that the I’ll Be Missing You singer allegedly named $20,000 as the price for the footage to not be made public.
She went on to note, ““We took a home equity loan and that was the only way we could get the money.”
Diddy was reportedly “angry” that he had splurged on Cassie while she was dating the Perfect rapper, whose real name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi.
Cassie and Kid Cudi briefly dated at the beginning of 2011, which the Love a Loser singer abruptly ended after Diddy found out about the affair.
