Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson are match made in heaven, in terms of off-screen chemistry.

The two were already known for their awkward moments and quirky personality, so when the pair starred alongside each other in Die, My Love, their red-carpet appearances were marked with encounters which showed off the duo’s matching humour.

On the first day of the 78th Cannes Film Festival, The Hunger Games star was joined by the Twilight actor to walk the prestigious event together in honour of the debut of their horror comedy film.

Jennifer wore a strapless white gown with a tiered skirt and ruched bodice, which Robert, who look dapper in a classy suit himself, took the liberty to fan out on the carpet.

The Tenet star was photographed smiling wide as he bent down to fix her dress, before unknowingly stepping on it right after.

The co-stars, reunited again as they received a 9-minute standing ovation following the debut of Die, My Love, had another hilarious moment in which Jennifer did not hold back from showing off her playful personality.

As the ovation continued, the Mother! actress began hugging director Lynne Ramsay, costars LaKeith Stanfield and Sissy Spacek along with Robert, but not before she had taken a moment to flash her middle finger at him.

Notably, this is the first time Jennifer, 34, and Robert, 39, have starred alongside each other.

Is ‘Die, My Love’ based on a book?

Yes, Die, My Love is an adaptation of Ariana Harwicz’s 2017 novel by the same name.
