American actress Jennifer Lawrance and Robert Pattinson walked out for at Cannes on Friday, they both looked as chic as ever.

Robert sported a pair of white slacks paired with a sapphire shirt and jacket as he posed with his equally well-known co-star, grinning subtly for the camera.

In contrast, the 34-year-old actress donned a full length dark black and pure white sundress that matched the Japanese theme of the Dior backdrop.

Her hair was styled in soft waves, and a striking disc necklace and tinted glasses completed the ensemble.

The cast of Die My Love, which has its Cannes premiere on Saturday, was invited to a dinner hosted by Dior at the festival.

The movie, which stars Jennifer and Robert, follows a young mother who struggles with psychosis while living in a rural area.

Lynne Ramsay, who was also on the red carpet, directed Die My Love, which is characterised as both a comedy and a horror.
