Blake Lively’s decision to prepare food in public with her hair down during a recent promotional appearance may raise concern among some observers, given a prior health investigation related to a similar incident.
In a video posted Wednesday to the tooomuchfood Instagram account, the 37-year-old star was seen promoting her latest film, Another Simple Favor, alongside her co-star.
The actress, who is currently involved in legal battle with her former co-star Justin Baldoni, was seen making ravioli while wearing a glitzy black top and skirt.
The Gossip Girl alum was seen leaning over the pasta, her long blonde hair pulled into a side ponytail, but notably not covered by a hairnet.
It follows a health and safety investigation that was initiated earlier this month after Blake’s visit to Rise Doughnuts in Wilton, Connecticut.
Fans at the time criticised her for the disgusting act of baking without a hairnet. Following customer complaints, a Wilton Health Department spokesperson confirmed that the company was being investigated.
