Piers Morgan has broken his silence after Meghan Markle appeared to take a cheeky swipe at him, without even mentioning his name.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has been sending her home-made jam from As Ever, to select recipients, and one of those lucky few was Alex Beresford, who is the Good Morning Britain weather presenter, known for famously clashing with Piers live on air over Meghan back in 2021.
Alex, 44, proudly showed off the gift on Instagram this week, writing: "Can't wait to try this! Thank you so much @meghan..." Meghan even sent a cuddly toy for Alex’s newborn daughter, making the gesture even sweeter.
Meanwhile, Piers, 60, who has long been one of Meghan’s most vocal critics, responded with his trademark sarcasm. Posting a string of laughing emojis, he tweeted: "Oh no.. how will I ever survive this brutal blow?"
The move comes four years after the explosive on-air argument that ended with Piers storming off GMB, and later quitting the show entirely.
Despite the subtle drama, Meghan has been keeping busy with her newest ventures. She recently launched her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, dropped her first episodes of her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, and introduced her As Ever brand.
Speaking at the TIME100 Summit in New York earlier this week, Meghan reflected on juggling it all, admitting the past year-and-a-half has been "incredibly busy" but emphasized the importance of focusing on her mental health, including staying offline.
"I'm grateful," Meghan said. "To have a partner and kids who are healthy and happy — I really do feel happy and grateful."
