Princess Kate shares a heartfelt message as she releases new 'Summer' film
The Princess of Wales has released the second installment of her 'Mother Nature' film series
Princess Kate is back with the second chapter of her Mother Nature seasonal film series.
Following Spring, the Summer edition reflects the solace the Princess of Wales has found in nature during her cancer treatment last year.
The release was accompanied by a personal message from Kate on social media on Wednesday, August 13. She wrote, “Our lives flourish when we cherish the bonds of love and friendship. It has never been more important to appreciate the value of one another, and of Mother Nature.”
She signed off the message with her initial, writing, “Here’s to Summer. C.”
Though she didn’t make an appearance on camera, Princess Catherine narrates the film.
“Summer is a season for abundance. Just as the flowers bloom and the fruits ripen, we too, are reminded of our own potential for growth. It is the time to ignite our inner fire, and explore our own creativity, passions and dreams.”
The Mother Nature series, launched in May during Mental Health Awareness Week, celebrates a different season in each installment. The first film, Spring, drew widespread interest as Kate explained how she embraced “the healing power of nature” during her health battle.
“Over the past year, nature has been my sanctuary,” she said at the time, describing its ability to “inspire,” “nurture,” and help people “heal and grow.”
