King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to lead the royal family at the annual Easter Sunday church service next week, Buckingham Palace confirmed in a new statement.
The couple will attend the Easter Mattins Service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on April 20, marking their first major appearance since returning from their four-day state visit to Italy.
In an official update, the Palace said: "Their Majesties The King and Queen, accompanied by Members of the Royal Family, will attend the Easter Matins Service at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor on Easter Sunday."
It remains unconfirmed whether Prince William and Kate Middleton will attend the service.
Last year, Princess Kate missed the event due to undergoing preventative chemotherapy for a form of cancer.
Now in remission, it’s possible she could make a return this year—though no official word has been given.
This latest announcement comes just hours after Charles and Camilla wrapped up a packed itinerary in Italy, where they were greeted with cheers and flag-waving crowds in Ravenna, a city of just 159,000.
