Paul Rudd recently revealed the identity of his off-screen rival from decades ago, as well as his very own fanboy moment.
The Ant-Man hero opened up about the man he’d never be able to forgive, a dentist who needlessly messed with his pearly whites in his youth.
“This guy screwed up my teeth so badly. It’s one of the things that I carry around. I’m so furious. It’s the only time I ever went to him,” the 55-year-old noted to The Wall Street Journal on April 1.
Paul, notable for being a nice guy in Hollywood, had previously ranted about the dentist in 2021, saying that he wanted the specialist to know that he was “terrible.”
While the Avengers: Doomsday actor shared his awful encounter with the dentist, he also mentioned a high note in his life.
The Clueless star shared in the same issue that he couldn’t contain his excitement after receiving a shout-out from Miley Cyrus.
The Wrecking Ball singer had spotted the Friends alum in the audience during the “Homecoming Concert,” celebrating the 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live, and exclaimed, “I love you, Paul Rudd.”
Paul, who was present at the event with his wife Julie, recalled the incident saying, “When she said that, I did turn into a 15-year-old.”
The American screenwriter went on to describe how he couldn’t believe it had happened, and that he spent some time obsessing over the moment before moving on.
