Chris Hemsworth fanboys over Billie Eilish, admitting they will 'never be friends'

Chris Hemsworth is having second thoughts about his fan moment with Billie Eilish.

The 41-year-old Thor actor appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, March 26, where he participated in Colbert’s popular "Questionert" segment — and revealed the one celebrity selfie he deeply regrets taking.

"I got a photo with Billie Eilish at the Oscars and I remember thinking, 'Ah, don't do it, don't do it,' " Hemsworth confessed, reflecting on his snap with the 23-year-old Grammy-winning singer at the 2024 Academy Awards.

The Furiosa star admitted that he couldn’t resist capturing the moment, thinking it would be a cool gesture for his kids.

"I was like, 'No, my kids are going to love this,'" Hemsworth told Colbert, 60. "And then the moment I took it, I was like, 'I went from work colleague to now like a fan.'"

In a lighthearted moment, Hemsworth jokingly added:"We will never be friends, never be best friends."

When Colbert asked if Hemsworth had ever collaborated with Eilish on any project, the Avengers actor said no but remarked that they were in the "same industry-kind of colleague, bumping shoulders."

Colbert played along with the joke, adding: "Sure, me and Anthony Hopkins, work colleagues."
