Gavin Rossdale shares legendary tale about Britney Spears

Gavin Rossdale voiced a legendary tale about his former pop star neighbor Britney Spears.

On Tuesday, the Bush frontman told Page Six Radio of Sirius XM about the time residing near each other.

Th 60-year-old musician indicated that he could never forget about the time shared with the crooner.

"Of course. How could you forget that?" In response to the question about Spears remembering the two of them swimming together.

He told how Spears visited them when they had young children, noting her character as real.

He recounted, "I got on really well with her. She was lovely. She was amazing. She's a great swimmer."

Rossdale pointed out that his sons by ex-wife Gwen Stefani, Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17 and Apollo, 12, were too occupied chatting with Britney.

He noted that his children would not even see Spears' children, Sean Preston, 20 and Jayden James, 19 who she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Rossdale added philosophy of parenting to the discussion, "That's all I put my mind to, not forcing any doctrine on them."

Moreover, he marked, "Not too many guardrails. Just be there and make them be cool and nice and kind." 

Referring to his own children he stressed, "I just wanted them to be good people, and they are."

Rossdale confided in Stefani about co-parenting with her last month, calling it a two-lane highway. 

In 2021, Stefani got married to Blake Shelton and got saprated in 2015.
