Sauce Walka is proving that he is one tough SOB.
The Houston rapper recently talked about being involved in a “targeted” shooting in Memphis, Tennessee.
According to the Memphis Police Department, the shooting took place near the FedExForum arena in downtown Memphis on Saturday afternoon.
Multiple gunmen came out of a white vehicle and began shooting at Sauce and fellow artist Sayso P before driving away.
The 34-year-old was shot in the leg and was rushed to the local hospital while Sayso did not survive the attack.
“45 shots when I was 15 years old. This s**t ain’t nothing new,” Sauce said in a FaceTime call with his father.
Sauce also mentioned Sayso in the call, paying his respect to the late TSF rapper.
The MPD believes the shooting was deliberate and has also identified the white vehicle.
A spokesperson for the MPD revealed, “This appears to be a targeted shooting incident. The victims were outside by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle pulled up. Multiple people got out of that vehicle, fired shots without engaging in any conversation, they got back into the white vehicle and fled.”
It is worth noting that earlier on the day of the incident, Sauce and Sayso took to Instagram to share images of themselves with stacks of cash.
