The next 007 movie will be coming sooner than you think
Amazon bought the iconic James Bond franchise for $1 billion, taking over complete creative control.
The next James Bond is yet to be decided however some names are being eyed to lead the next movie.
Last edition of the 007 franchise, No Time to Die, was released in 2021 starring Daniel Craig in the lead role. The next edition is planned for a late-2027 release.
“They want filming to be done on Bond 26 by the end of the next year so that it can be out in 2027”, as reported by the US Sun.
The budget of the upcoming film will be $30 million more than the Daniel Craig starrer, making it a $250 million project.
Recently the brain behind the James Bond movies, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, shocked fans when they signed over their creative control to Amazon.
In a recent interview, Pierce Brosnan expressed his wish to come back as the iconic character but he also added that its best left to “fresh blood”.
