King Charles shared meaningful advice to people battling cancer like him during his visit to Northern Ireland.
The monarch visited the Cancer Research Centre on Ulster University's Coleraine campus, where he was shown the work done by researchers.
The university officials shared that the King "found out more about the amazing work our researchers are doing and how their work is positively impacting cancer health practitioners and patients in Northern Ireland and beyond."
Moreover, the monarch met with cancer patients at the celebrated college and shared words of encouragement despite his own ongoing cancer journey.
Reported by The Telegraph, Charles said, "What’s that Winston Churchill saying? Keep buggering on."
Asking about the "side effects" of cancer treatment from the patients, the monarch added, "You just have to push on, don’t you."
For the unversed, Buckingham Palace announced King Charles' cancer diagnosis in February 2024. Since then, Prince William and Prince Harry's father has been undergoing medical treatment for his undisclosed form of cancer.
