Naomie Harris gushes over work on ‘James Bond’ films
Naomie Harris also attended the premiere of her new flick 'Black Bag'
Naomi Harris, an Oscar nominated actress, sat down for an interview with People at the premiere of her new film, Black Bag in New York.Gushing over the James Bond films, she said, “It’s been a long time, but I think one of the most meaningful parts for me was just returning to a family each time, you know.”
“As an actor you're usually going around the world kind of like on your own without a tribe or anything,” Harris added, “And then with the franchise, I finally found my tribe and my family.”
Even after working on other espionage and action genre projects, her allegiances have remained the same, “Obviously being part of the James Bond franchise, I would have to say James Bond is the ultimate spy. I truly do believe that. I grew up watching Bond movies and I love.”
However for her favorite spy film, it was 007’s first outing as a spy, “In terms of my favorite movie, I think … it would be Casino Royale.”
The synopsis for her new project, Black Bag reads, “When his beloved wife, Kathryn, is suspected of betraying the nation, intelligence agent George Woodhouse faces the ultimate test -- loyalty to his marriage or his country."
