Saturday Night Live is testing the waters with some dark comedy in the Weekend Updates segment of the sketch comedy show.
The co-hosts for the satirical news program, Colin Jost and Michael Che discussed the recent images that have been released of Jeffrey Epstein's infamous island.
One such image is of a room that looks to be a dental room with masks of men hanging on the walls at odd lengths.
Jost began, by saying “It's not as nice as I remember,” adding, “I think definitely the craziest detail of these photos was that there was one room with just a dentist's chair in it."
"Which seems very weird but keep in mind a lot of his girlfriends still had braces,” he added.
This drew strong reactions and groans from the live audience to which the comedian doubled down and added that they think that the victim should have crooked teeth.
Elsewhere in the episode, Che remarked on one of Donald Trump’s Truth Social posts, in which the businessman posted his cameo in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
However, the show edited the clip to the young Macaulay Culkin asking the current President of the United States where Epstein was, to which he responds with directions.
Colin’s reported salary on SNL is $525,000 throughout a 21-episode season.
