Paramount+ is striking black gold once again.

Taylor Sheridan’s hit oil drama Landman has officially been renewed for a third season following the strong ratings of its second installment.

Set against the boomtowns of West Texas, Landman chronicles the high-stakes world of oil rigs, following roughnecks and wildcat billionaires whose fortunes drive a boom reshaping the economy, geopolitics, and the environment.

Based on the 11-part podcast Boomtown, the series blends upstairs-downstairs storytelling with the grit and glamour of life chasing oil money.

Season 2 raised the stakes as Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) wrestled with pressures from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and his own family legacy.

As secrets surface and tensions mount, survival in West Texas proves less about nobility and more about brutality.

Alongside Thornton and Moore, the series boasts a powerhouse cast including Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, and Sam Elliott, with Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore rounding out the ensemble.

Co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace, Landman continues to prove that ambition, greed, and family drama are the perfect recipe for must-watch television.

Will Tommy and Angela get married in new season?

In episode 3 of Season 2, on the drive back from the Cattlemen's Club, Angela notices that Tommy introduced her to Gallino as his “wife.”

“Well, you are my wife. I mean, we’ve kind of been living as husband and wife, so I just figured… that’s what I call you. I don’t know what else to call you,” he says.

Angela takes his words as a proposal. “Are you asking?” she presses.

Tommy, caught off guard, replies, “Am I what?” Instead of explaining, she simply answers, “Yes. F— yes,” hinting that wedding bells could soon be in their future.
