Elon Musk broke his silence after streaming platforms lock horn in bidding war over Warner Bros with Netflix declaring win and acquisition.

After the streaming giant won the bidding war, it was reported that Paramount is looking forward to kickstart a “hostile bid” for the target company.

According to reports, David Ellison’s entertainment enterprise is tailing to acquire the selling company outright.

The update was re-shared by Elon as he added two popcorn emojis, seemingly enjoying the bidding drama between the companies.

David’s Paramount are reaching out to WBD through extensive letters to highlight the “substantial risk” posed by Netlix’s offer. They also noted about the Comcast’s offer that can cause “unique and significant risks.”

On behalf of the platform, attorneys highlighted the “grave uncertainty and significant opposition by competition law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad.”

However, it is being reported that the selling company is preferring Netflix for the $83 million deal. The cash and stock deal is “valued at $27.75 per WBD share.”

Buying the shares will presumably grant it the ownership of content from “Batman movies to Game of Thrones.”
